Black Hills Climbers Coalition
Route Repair

A large portion of our membership funds and energy go into replacing scary old hardware found in many Black Hills Climbing Areas. Please Join the BHCC and help us with this effort.
The Bolting Committee is currently made up of Rich Barry, Ron Yahne, Chris Spellmeyer, Caleb Hansen, and Jason McNabb.
These folks along with the BHCC board work hard to make keep Black Hills Climbing progressing, and protect the awesome areas we have here. If you would like to be part of this, feel free to join the BHCC, and comment on the proposed actions of the Bolting Committee. Any proposed changes to routes beyond bolt for bolt exchanges will be posted to this website for 30 days and comments taken then the final vote will be made by the Bolting Committee and the BHCC Board before actions are taken. You can read the complete document below for a full description. Please remember that we are a 100% volunteer organization and hope all comments you may make will be respectful and constructive.
